1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
Tampa Bay Aviation is offering the Dorothy Thompson/Tampa Bay Aviation Scholarship to a WAI member pursuing a fixed-wing or rotorcraft, private or commercial pilot certificate, or instrument rating. The scholarship will be in the form of a credit on their account at Tampa Bay Aviation. Funds will not be disbursed directly to the recipient. The recipient will be responsible for all written and oral examination fees, as well as any other fees which do not consist of aircraft rental or instruction at Tampa Bay Aviation. The scholarship must be used in pursuit of a certificate or rating and cannot simply be used for aircraft rental. Applicants must be a current member of Women in Aviation International by October 1, 2024, and their membership must not expire before March 2025. Two professional letters of recommendation are required. Letters may not be from family members.
