1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
Sporty's Foundation is offering one flight training scholarship to a WAI member who works with youth to help them pursue their aviation dreams and is pursuing a recreational, sport, or private pilot certificate. Special consideration will be given to Girls in Aviation Day volunteers. Scholarship funds are to be used for flight training costs only and must be used within one year of receiving the scholarship. Award money will be sent to the recipient's flight school for disbursement. The recipient will also receive a copy of Sporty's complete Learn to Fly Flight Training Course. Applicants must be a current member of Women in Aviation International by October 1, 2024, and their membership must not expire before March 2025. Two professional letters of recommendation are required. Letters may not be from family members.
