The James L. "Jim" Banks, III Memorial Endowed/Annual Scholarship is awarded to one incoming student whose creative work demonstrates exceptional promise and explores the universal human experience, as assessed by creative writing faculty. All applicants with a minimum cumulative undergraduate GPA of 3.5 who intend to enroll in the MFA Creative Writing program's Studio curriculum track are considered for this scholarship.
