1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
The Karen Clark Tinsley Scholarship shall be awarded to freshman, sophomore, junior, and senior collegian members of the Epsilon Epsilon-Baylor University Chapter who will pursue undergraduate study during the academic year for which the scholarship is awarded. Should no applicants meet the first criteria, the scholarship shall be awarded to senior collegian and alumnae members of the Epsilon Epsilon-Baylor University Chapter who will pursue graduate study during the academic year for which the scholarship is awarded. Should no applicants meet the first and second criteria, the scholarship funding shall be awarded to collegian members of collegiate Theta chapters in the state of Texas who will pursue undergraduate study during the academic year for which the scholarship is awarded. Should no applicants meet the first to third criteria, the scholarship shall be awarded to collegian and alumnae members of the Fraternity who will pursue undergraduate or graduate study during the academic year for which the scholarship is awarded. In the event Epsilon Epsilon is disestablished and ceases to exist, unless and until Epsilon Epsilon is reestablished, the scholarship shall be awarded according to the first to fourth criteria. A recommendation from a member of Kappa Alpha Theta and a recommendation from an academic or professional reference are required.
