1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
The Appalachian Power Endowed Scholarship provides assistance to students enrolled in the Engineering and Technology Program. Priority is given to Appalachian Power employees and their dependents; if none apply, then preference is given to those demonstrating financial need. Applicants must provide the names and email addresses of three persons willing to provide recommendations for them. At least one recommendation must be a Virginia Western instructor, if the applicant is enrolled at the college. If recently attending or graduated from high school, applicants may use a high school teacher(s) to provide recommendations. The deadline for applying for scholarships varies depending on the semester. Please visit the scholarship's website or contact the Office of Financial Aid and Veterans Affairs for more information.
