The University of Southern Maine President's Scholar Award is open to first-year students based on academic achievement, demonstrated leadership skills, or other criteria. Awards are valued at $4,000 for in-state students and $11,000 for out-of-state students. Students who have already earned a bachelor's degree by the time they start courses at USM are not eligible for merit scholarships. Please visit the scholarship's website for more information.
