1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
The Blue Sky Scholars program is open to exceptionally qualified students from middle-income North Carolina families who qualify for financial aid but do not meet the requirements for the Carolina Covenant that demonstrate extraordinary hard work and character. In addition to their scholarship, recipients also receive a $2,500 Carolina Works work-study offer and a one-time $2,500 enrichment opportunity grant to use for study abroad, internships, or research. Blue Sky Scholars are automatically invited to join the UNC Scholars Program.
