The AWG Maria Crawford Field Camp Scholarship encourages promising young students who pursue geoscience careers through attendance at field camp. Scholarships are awarded annually through a competitive process. The applicant must be an advanced undergraduate student in the geosciences (geology, geophysics, geochemistry, hydrology, meteorology, physical oceanography, planetary geology, or earth science education) at an accredited college or university. Names and contact information for two instructors who are acquainted with your work and are willing to write letters of recommendation for you must be submitted. They will be contacted directly to ask them to submit their recommendations. The name, institution, and email address of an NAGT/AWG member who has agreed to endorse your application for this scholarship are also required.
