1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
The Robert L. Peaslee Brazing Scholarship will be awarded to a student pursuing a minimum four year bachelor's degree, or graduate degree, in an engineering school program emphasizing brazing applications. Applicants must be at least a college junior and have maintained a minimum 3.0 grade point average in engineering courses. Applicants must be attending an academic institution located within the United States or Canada. Applicants must show an emphasis on brazing applications in their coursework and provide course titles for brazing classes they have taken, are taking, or are planning to take. If the course title does not have brazing in the title, applicants must include the course description or relevant extract. Applicants do not have to be a member of the American Welding Society. Two reference letters are required.
