WMEF offers the Arne Engebretsen Memorial Scholarship to high school seniors who plan to attend a college or university majoring in mathematics education or having a mathematics concentration at the elementary or middle level. Applicants must submit an official letter of support from a mathematics instructor, preferably one who is a member of the Wisconsin Mathematics Council. The candidates will be evaluated using the applicant's academic record and teacher evaluation and their answers in the essay.
