The Arizona Nursery Association Foundation awards scholarships to worthy students each year. Applicants must be currently or planning to be enrolled in a horticultural-related curriculum, such as horticulture, agriculture, agriculture education, agribusiness and landscape architecture, at a university, community college or continuing education program. Applicants may also be currently employed in or have an interest in the nursery industry as a career. They must have an above average scholastic achievement or at least two years work experience in the industry; and, display involvement in extracurricular activities related to the industry. Two letters of recommendation from any of the following are required: ornamental horticulture instructor, counselor, employer, club or activity advisory, or community or church leader. A Letter of Intent stating your occupational goals as they relate to the horticulture field, your future plans, and why you deserve this scholarship must be submitted.
