1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
The Chappie Hall Scholarship will be awarded to students who have maintained a 3.0 or better during the past school year. The applicant's parents, grandparents, husband or wife must be (or if deceased, was) a regular or life member (not an associate member) of the 101st Airborne Division Association. The major factors to be considered in the evaluation and rating of applicants are eligibility, career objectives, academic record, and insight gained from the letter requesting consideration and letters of recommendation. Applicants shall not be attending nor accepted as a student to the United States Military Academy, the Naval Academy or the Air Force Academy. Applicants may apply and receive an award each year for a maximum of four years for an undergraduate degree and two years for a graduate degree. Chappie Hall Scholarship applicants must submit four years of transcripts if they are high school students and all college transcripts if they are university students. Two letters of recommendation written within the past 6 months, from other than a relative, are required. For Chappie Hall applicants, one must be from a teacher.
