The Herbert Lehman Scholarship is a national, highly competitive scholarship that makes annual awards to qualified, outstanding students. Applicants must be a graduating high school senior, a first-year student in an accredited four-year college, or a student transferring into an accredited four-year college. Students beginning as a junior from a two-year college are not eligible. To demonstrate financial need, a combined family income of $70,000 or less is required.. Applicants must also demonstrate commitment to public service. Two recommendation letters and a copy of your SAT and/or ACT test scores are required.
