1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
The Humana Foundation has established a scholarship program to assist children of associates who plan to continue their education in college or vocational school programs. Applicants must be dependent children of full-time and part-time Humana associates in the United States or Puerto Rico who have a minimum of three years continuous employment with the company as of the application deadline date. Associates from companies recently acquired by Humana must have at least one year of service with Humana in addition to two years prior service with the previous employer, totaling three years of continuous employment. Students must be high school seniors or graduates who plan to enroll or students who are already enrolled in undergraduate study for the entire upcoming academic year at an accredited two- or four-year college, university, or vocational-technical school in the United States or Puerto Rico that will lead to an academic degree. If selected as a recipient, the student will receive an award of $1,500 if their parent is a part-time associate, or $3,000 if their parent is a full-time associate. Awards may be renewed for up to three additional years or until a bachelor's degree is earned, whichever occurs first. Awards are for undergraduate study only.
