The American Legion Auxiliary Department of Ohio awards 2 scholarships annually for students preparing to enter his or her freshman year of college. The applicant must be a veteran or a direct descendant of an honorably discharged veteran. The applicant must be sponsored by an Ohio American Legion Auxiliary Unit. Additional requirements include 3 letters of recommendation.
