1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
The Guy Marshall Scholarship Fund was established in 2008 by advisors of the Cecil G. Marshall Fund to honor Guy's commitment to education. The scholarship will benefit students from Hawaii attending a college or university in the continental U.S. with the intention to sustain support for scholarship recipients through their four years of their undergraduate education. For the initial grant, the donor requires the applicants to be a high school senior or entering college as a freshman, graduating from a Hawaii high school. Preference will be given to recipients who were awarded in the immediate prior year if such recipient continues to meet the eligibility requirements and is in good academic standing; and to renewal applicants. Scholarship is renewable for up to 4 years, but new applicants can only apply if they will be entering college as a freshman during the upcoming academic year. Please visit the scholarship's website or contact the Hawai'i Community Foundation for more information.
