Scholarship is for undergraduate or graduate students who are citizens of Canada and enrolled full-time in engineering; metallurgy, materials science, chemical, mechanical, electrical, environmental, computer science, industrial and safety. Students must commit to a PAID summer internship at a North American steel producing or steel related company during the summer preceding funding. Students must have a strong interest in a career in the steel industry as demonstrated by an internship or related experience, or who have plans to pursue such experiences. Students may apply during their first through third years of college. University seniors accepted in a graduate program may apply during their senior year and while enrolled in graduate school. Applications are accepted from 1 Nov through 31 Oct each year.
