The Pittsburgh Foundation to honor the memory of our friend and classmate, Thomas P. Kapfer. His goodness, positive attitude, and concern for others profoundly influenced the lives of his friends. Therefore, his friends were inspired to establish a scholarship fund for a student who exemplifies those same qualities that Tom possessed. Scholarships are for graduating seniors from Brentwood High School. Applicants must have a strong work ethic and exhibit academic and extracurricular achievement. Applicants must also be a person who shows spirit, attitude, leadership qualities and extraordinary concern for others. Financial need is considered but not required.
