1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
The Kings Super Markets, Inc. Independent College Fund Scholarship provides an opportunity for Kings' associates and their children who wish to attend any one of the private colleges or universities in New Jersey to receive financial assistance. The competitive scholarship program is part of an incentive to attract and retain associates. The scholarship emphasizes the importance of family by assisting the children of Kings' associates in the pursuit of their educational goals. Applicants must be enrolled in no fewer than two courses each academic term; and demonstrate continued progress toward earning an associate, bachelor or graduate degree. Applicants must be a King's associate or dependent of a King's associate, eligible associates must plan to work at least 500 hours between September 1 and August 31 of the following year. Children of associates must have a parent or legal guardian currently employed by Kings on a continuous full-time or part-time basis with at least for at least five years employment in good standing and have made a significant contribution to work, school and/or community.
