Clark University, founded in 1887, is a private, research-based, liberal arts university whose motto is "Challenge Convention and Change the World." Clark students are socially conscious and committed to making a difference. They benefit from small class sizes, easy access to professors, an intercultural community, and learning through inquiry. In addition to research and internship opportunities, Clark's Fifth-Year Free Program allows qualified students to study for five years at the price of four and receive both a bachelor's and a master's degree. Its 50-acre campus is located in Worcester, 40 miles west of Boston.
