Applicants must be seniors attending public high schools in New York City's five boroughs or surrounding New York counties. After an initial review of all applications, the finalists will be selected for interviews with the Selection Committee. Interviews will be scheduled in late March for selected candidates. Award recipients may be invited to receive their awards at FSCNY's 26th Annual Conference Scholarship Luncheon, to be held at the Brooklyn Marriott Hotel April 26, 2018. Additional details will be made available to scholarship winners at a later date. Several scholarships will be issued to selected recipients consisting of a one-time cash award to be applied towards the cost of their freshman year of study at an accredited two- or four-year college or university.
