The Ankin Law Office College Scholarship Ankin Law understands the financial challenges college students face. As such, we are pleased to announce a $5,000 scholarship to an undergraduate or law school student of need who submits the best essay addressing the topic below. The submission deadline is June 1st, 2017. Qualifications Qualified applicants will: Submit a fully completed application no later than June 1, 2017. Be enrolled as a full-time student in an accredited community college, college or university, or an accredited law school starting in the fall of 2017. Write an essay (maximum of 400 words) on the topic below. Submit their own original work. Submit FAFSA results to verify need and provide proof of enrollment should his/her submission be selected. 2017 Essay Prompt: -The Biggest Threat to Social Safety- Submit an essay (maximum 400 words) on the following topic: What effect will driverless-car technology have on personal injury automobile cases? Citations, logical proofs, and sound reasoning are welcome. The winner of the scholarship will be chosen based on the quality of the applicant's essay submission and the accuracy with which they followed the instructions. How to Apply The Ankin Law College Scholarship for 2017 requires that you submit a completed application no later than June 1st, 2017. Applications received after June 1st, 2017 will not be considered. Applications may only be submitted through the website. A submission via any other channel will not be considered. Ankin Law, in its sole discretion will pick the scholarship winner. Announcement of the Scholarship Winner The winner will be selected from all eligible applications and will be announced on by September 1, 2017. The winning applicant will be notified by email. The funds will be distributed after the winner has been announced and proof of post-high school enrollment has been verified. The winner's essay submission may be published on The Ankin Law Office College Scholarship and reserve the right to publish submissions received. Ankin Law has the sole right to resolve any disputes which may arise in the selection of the award winner. There will only be one award allotted. The winner of the scholarship will be asked to submit a copy of his or her completed FAFSA to verify need.
