National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences/Jim McKay Memorial Scholarship

The Jim McKay Memorial Scholarship honors sports journalist Jim McKay (1921-2008) and was established in 2009 by the HBO, CBS, NBC, ABC and FOX networks. It is presented at the Sports Emmys each May. It is awarded to a college-bound applicant who demonstrates exceptional talent as a creator of video programming as well as outstanding academic achievement and potential for success in a highly competitive profession.
