Awards are to be presented to accounting majors who are enrolled in an 150-hour program at a Nebraska college or university; accounting students who plan to sit for the CPA exam and are entering his/her final year in an 150-Hour program before sitting for the CPA exam; accounting students who have the interest and capabilities of becoming a successful accountant and who are considering an accounting career in Nebraska. Nominations for scholarship recipients are to be made by the Accounting Department faculty members and approved by an Accounting Department Committee (or equivalent). If ratification by the Dean of the college is required, the awardee must come from the nominations of the Accounting Department.
