Life Happens/Life Lessons Scholarship Program

The Life Lessons Scholarship Program is for college students and college-bound high school seniors who have experienced the death of a parent or legal guardian. To apply students must complete and submit an online application (www.lifehappens.org/scholarship), including an essay of no more than 500 words or a 3 minutes video discussing how the death of a parent or guardian affected his or her life financially and emotionally. Applicants must explain how the lack of adequate life insurance coverage (or no coverage at all) impacted their family's financial situation.
