1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
The Nursing Education Loan Program is available to students in certificate practical nurse, associate, bachelor's and master's degree programs in nursing. It also is available to graduate nurse students pursuing a doctorate and nurses enrolled in a refresher course. Undergraduate students must be enrolled in a minimum of six credits per semester or twelve credits per calendar year. Graduate students must be enrolled in a minimum of three credits per semester or six credits per calendar year. The education loan recipient must be accepted and enrolled in the nursing major before any portion of the award is disbursed. Education loan recipients must maintain continuous enrollment and non-probation status in the education program to be eligible for disbursement of funds. The nursing education loan may be repaid by nursing employment in North Dakota or by holding a North Dakota license while serving in any branch of the United States Military after graduation.
