1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
The student must be the child (including step-child, adopted child or ward), grandchild or the spouse of an active AIST Pittsburgh Chapter member in good standing. A member in good standing is defined as an AIST member who has been active in the chapter for at least two consecutive years. Members of the Material Advantage program at local Pittsburgh Chapter area colleges are also eligible to compete for the scholarships. The student must be accepted into or currently enrolled in an eligible, full-time curriculum at an accredited university or college. Preference will be given to applicants studying metallurgy or engineering majors relevant to iron and steel production, awards may be given to eligible student(s) studying other majors.
