The FIRST/Lucy and Charles W.E. Clarke Scholarship aims to recognize students whose FIRST experience has inspired an interest in pursuing an engineering career. Students must be graduating high school seniors active on a FIRST FTC or FRC team and are planning to enroll in an ABET-accredited or substantially equivalent mechanical engineering, no later than the fall after their senior year in high school. The Nominator shall be an ASME member, ASME Auxiliary member, or ASME student member who is current with their ASME membership and dues. The Nominator shall attest to the student's technical, creative and leadership contributions to the FIRST team by answering questions on the application. The Recommender shall not be your nominator, parent and/or relative. The letter recommender shall attest to the student's technical, creative and leadership contributions to the FIRST Team by answering questions on the application. The recommendation letter may be submitted until March 22, 2023. Please visit the scholarship's website for more information.
