1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
The Allen J. Baldwin Scholarship is for students in the final year of their undergraduate study, so a student will apply in their junior year; five-year students must apply in their fourth year. Applicants must be enrolled in a mechanical engineering, mechanical engineering technology or related baccalaureate program in the United States. Applicants must be full-time unless they are within two semesters of graduation when enrolled in a 4-year Baccalaureate program. Priority may be given to students who demonstrate strong ASME leadership role and participation with ASME extra-curricular activities; leadership within the engineering academic context specified, and a strong potential for contribution to the mechanical engineering profession identified in a recommendation letter; outstanding humanitarian extra-curricular leadership and activities as a volunteer with another charitable organization using mechanical engineering skills; and high level of financial need. The recommendation letter may be submitted until February 23, 2023.
