The Wisconsin American Legion Auxiliary offers the Merit and Memorial Scholarships. Application must be signed by a local American Legion Auxiliary Unit and mailed to the Department Education Chairman in one envelope with the applicant's name on every page of the application and attachments. Application form can be downloaded from the site. Applicants who previously received a scholarship from The American Legion Auxiliary Department of Wisconsin are not eligible for another Department scholarship, including scholarships for graduate students. Students may apply for scholarships regardless of when the veteran served. Applicants must be a child, grandchild, great-grandchild, stepchild, step grandchild, step great-grandchild, wife or widow of an honorably discharged American veteran. An applicant who is a member of the Wisconsin American Legion Family does not need to reside in Wisconsin. Please visit the scholarship's website for more information.
