Optimist International Foundation/Optimist International Oratorical Contest

Contest for youth to gain experience in public speaking and to provide them with the opportunity to compete for college scholarships. The contest is open to youth under the age of 19 before graduating high school or the equivalent. Students must first compete at the Club level. Club winners are then entered into the Zone contest and those winners compete in the District contest. District winners are awarded scholarships. District winners will be able to compete in a Regional Contest then be able to compete in the World Championships at St. Louis University in St. Louis, Missouri USA.
