Anchor Scholarship Foundation/Anchor Scholarship Foundation Program

Must be dependent child or spouse of U.S. Navy service member (active or retired) having served at least six years under administrative control of U.S. Naval Surface Forces, Atlantic or Pacific Fleets. Dependent child must be pursuing full-time their first Bachelor's degree at a 4yr college or university. Spouse applicants may attend either full or part-time at either a 2yr or 4yr college or university in pursuit of their first associates or bachelor's degree. Eligibility must first be determined by submitting an eligibility application. This application is available online in the fall. Be prepared to submit sponsor's full name, rank/rate, list of duty stations, home-ports, ship hull numbers, dates served aboard and supporting documentation. Once eligibility is confirmed, the scholarship application will be sent via e-mail. Selection basis: academics, extracurricular activities, character, and financial need.
