1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
The Massachusetts Part-Time Grant Program aims to serve as a bridge between higher education opportunities and those segments of the Massachusetts population. To be eligible, a student must be a permanent legal resident of Massachusetts for at least one year prior to the start of the academic year for which the grant is awarded; and be a U.S. Citizen or non-citizen eligible under Title IV regulations. They must be enrolled for at least six (or the equivalent) but fewer than 12 undergraduate credits per academic term in an eligible undergraduate degree program or eligible certificate program. Applicants must also be maintaining satisfactory academic progress in accordance with institutional and federal standards. Students must be enrolled at an eligible institution that is defined as a public, private, independent, for profit or non-profit institution in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts authorized to offer undergraduate degrees or certificate programs.
