North Carolina Division of Vocational Rehabilitation Services/Training Support for Youth with Disabilities

Public service program that helps persons with disabilities obtain competitive employment. To qualify: student must have a mental, physical or learning disability that is an impediment to employment and require post secondary training to achieve a specific employment outcome. A Rehabilitation Counselor, along with the eligible student, develops an individualized rehabilitation program outlining the specific need for post-secondary training. Financial assistance is based on NC Division of Vocational Rehabilitation demonstrated financial need and the type of program in which the student enrolls.
