1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
TMS/Light Metals Division Scholarship Program is available to full-time undergraduate applicants in their sophomore or junior years, who are majoring in metallurgical and/or materials science and engineering with an emphasis on both traditional (aluminum, magnesium, beryllium, titanium, lithium and other reactive metals) and emerging (composites, laminates, etc.) light metals. As the awards are presented during the Light Metals Division luncheon at the TMS Annual Meeting and Exhibition, up to $500 for travel expenses is available to each recipient. Award recipients must travel to and attend the conference in order to receive the travel funds associated with this award. The LMD student scholarship recipients must present at the LMD luncheon or submit a video for presentation if not able to attend in-person. The applicant must be a student member of Material Advantage. Relatives of members of the funding committee/division are not eligible. Submitted coursework must be relevant to the scholarship for which the student is applying. Three recommendations from educators and/or employees who are familiar with your background are required.
