Courage Kenny Rehabilitation Institute invites artists with disabilities to submit artwork to participate in the 57th Art of Possibilities Art Show & Sale. Artists are invited to submit two works of art. All art must be available for sale at a fair market price. New in 2021, artists are encouraged to provide a one to two sentence artwork description of each entry to describe the artwork including the frame or presentation. In addition to the artist biography, in 2021, there is a VIDEO entry on the application. Artists are highly encouraged (but not required) to provide a 30-45 second MEET THE ARTIST video. The questions to be answered are: How has your disability impacted your art? What inspires you to create art? All artists with a disability causing physical or mental impairment which substantially limits one or more major daily life activities are eligible. Examples of major life activities include walking, seeing, hearing, breathing, personal care, learning or working. See sponsor's website for more comprehensive list of art specifications. A $400 licensing fee will be paid to the artist for each piece of artwork chosen, in addition to national exposure through the distribution of more than 300,000 catalogs and promotional pieces, radio, Internet and print advertising.
