Saginaw Valley State, founded in 1963, is a public, comprehensive university. Programs are offered through the Schools of Arts and Behavioral Sciences; Business and Management; Education; Nursing and Allied Health Sciences; and Science, Engineering, and Technology. Its 782-acre campus is located in University Center, 35 miles north of Flint.
