Established in 1982, Pennsylvania College of Art & Design is a leader in central Pennsylvania''s arts and business communities. The college offers a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree (BFA) in fine arts, graphic design, illustration, and photography. The small intimate environment means students receive more individualized instruction from the faculty, who are all professional working artists and designers. They offer a learning environment and support system composed of a small community of professional artists that have real world experience. The majority of students succeed in finding art-related jobs or pursue advanced education immediately following graduation. The campus is located in central Pennsylvania, with convenient access to Philadelphia, New York, Baltimore, and Washington, D.C.
