In an admission decision, we consider coursework, academic performance, class rank, ACT and/or SAT scores, application essays, extracurricular activities, volunteer and work experience, and awards and honors.

Undergraduate students at Illinois are guaranteed the same tuition rate for four continuous academic years. Families should include individual anticipated travel and personal expenses when determining cost to attend college. Note that the U.S. Department of Homeland Security requires international students to certify financial resources for their educational expenses in the U.S. There is no extra application to apply for scholarships at Illinois. You will be considered for all scholarships when you apply for admission.
